The Shawshank Redemption is a super successful movie that written and directed by Frank Darabont in 1994. This movie is a kind of crime and drama. Also, The Shawshank Redemption was nominated seven Academy Awards in its Oscar year.
The main story of this movie is about an innocent criminal named Andy. He is a young banker who spends about twenty years of his life in Shawshank State Prison for the murder crime of his wife and her lover. During this long time at the prison, he uses his professional banking knowledge to solve several financial problems of prison guards and warden. Moreover, Andy makes friends with red, who is an “institution man” and helps Andy a lot in the Shawshank Prison. Andy also helps to expand the prison library by writing letters to the state government. Many prisoners get more entertainment and study opportunities in this library. The Warden forces Andy to help him do the money laundering, and does not let him go although Andy is innocent. Finally, Andy escaped the Shawshank State Prison, and revealed the crime of warden. At the end of the story, Andy and Red are happily reuniting on a beautiful beach and begin a free new life.
Actually, the story in The Shawshank Redemption is not difficult to understand. Although the story is a little complicated, audiences can easily understand the whole plot from the character’s language and expression. I love the story and the cast and settings of the movie. Moreover, I like the characters in this movie, especially Andy and Red. One same thing that both of them have owned is the spirit of persistence. They never give up even at the most terrible situation. “Hope” is one of the import things that I learned from this movie. The message of hope in the story will keep me strong in the future. People cannot live without hope, and only hope can contribute the better and beautiful life in the future. Although Andy lost everything, but one thing he always reserves is the hope. There is no doubt that I will recommend my friends to watch this movie because it is a successful courage movie I have ever seen.
The Shawshank Redemption is documentary and feature film. Directed by Frank Darabont in 1994. The movie showed us the freedom; hope and friendship. It's talk about the hero who had imprisonment, because miscarriage of justice, ANDY has a very strong heart, but also has a belief and the constant yearning for freedom, whether it is the poor living conditions in prison, loneliness and mental torture, he never gave up. He dug up the wall that need 600 years in other person's mind. But he didn't flee,because he believe there are many opportunities. He stayed here to bring some spiritual things for everyone, it's hope. He helping others to passed the exam etc. We can see his efforts in anytime. I love this 3 sentence too much. One is, these walls are kind of funny like that. First you hate them, then you get used to them. Enough time passes, gets so you depend on them. Another one is, fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free. And it takes a strong man to save himself, and a great man to save another. I got a lot from the moive, the best one is hope. If you have hope, then you will have unlimited energy. Such as me, i hope i can pass this semester so i still do homework now, even is midnight already.

This story about how two men serving life sentences in prison become friends and find a way to overcome despair. Andy is an innocent banker who has been sent to the jail for the cruel murder that he didn`t commit. But in the jail, he find a friend-Red, the man who can get stuff that you want. This movie teaches us, that if you build a prison in your mind, your chance to escape from it is zero. But if you find the courage to destroy it, and begin to "play in life"! Do not allow yourself to be an instrument in the hands of strangers, do not let yourself break, and most importantly - believe in yourself! This movie is a great example how to play the game that called "Life". From the first and until the last moment you feel that this is not a movie heroes, this is you just lived through the events of this movie. I really recommend this movie to everyone.

It also means he will spend about twenty years of his life in Shanwshank State prison. During that time Andy slowly for forges an different friendship with Red,a seasoned lifer in this jail. Soon, Andy becomes popular with prison guards, he not only uses his banking knowledge to solve financial problems for person guards, but also help to expand the prison library that writing letters to the government. Actually, Andy grin and bear every unfortunate that just waiting for a chance to escape. In the end, Red meet Andy on a beautiful beach. Personally, I feel story is different to understand by actor's lines. But some lines caught my attention, such as "You know some birds are not meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright" , and "Hope is a good thing and maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies". Actually, I think Andy like "some birds", wherever he could not hid his shine. And also feel hope is one of important ting in our life that I can see from the movie. And I learn from Andy, is talented and perseverance will help people spent the most difficult period. Therefore, that is why I like this movie and I will recommend to my friends because it is using different view to tell audience talented, perseverance, and hope will change a person's behaviours, no matter what kind of people you are.

The movie is a little difficult for me to understand because Red always make his opinion but sometimes i dont understand without body languague or emotion.i like the characters in that movie because they make the movie interesting and their performs well. i will recommend this movie to my best friend, i want them to have the same feeling with me.

this is my favorite movie in this world. its told us about three things: freedom, hope, and friendship, Red said:These walls are kind of funny like that. That's institutionalizing.yes, institutionalizing kills freedom, hope, and friendship. but, Andy never give them up.about Hope, i remember Andy finally get his books for his library，he locked the anthem cassettes，than play a song for every prisoner，someone ask him, why he did that, he said: music makes you never forget, forget there in side, they can't touch, it's yours, it's hope. in the ending of movie, Andy said, I find I’m so excited. I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope. he got the thing he want. he want get hope, he hope get free again, he with his friend Red meet again outside the jail. he is a legend, and his wish also are ours. hope is the most important, like his said: Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
