  1. Firstly, Josh Baskin made a wish to become bigger, next day when he wakes up, the wish comes true. Secondly, Josh Baskin goes to New York and finds a job in a toy company. Thirdly, Josh Baskin falls in love with a girl named Susan. Fourthly, Josh Baskin spends a whole day to recall some memory when he was a child. Fifthly, Josh Baskin found that magic machine and return to a thirteen years old child primarily. These events are very important to the evolution of the story. They record the growth of Josh Baskin, and help audiences to understand how he finds himself finally. It is a process of self-cognition.

It seems that every child is looking forward to a grown up, because that adults have control over, be free to make the things they want, over the life you want. But really grown up, you will miss the passing of childhood, because the adult world filled with nasty intrigues, infighting, you never know what others really think. Adult's face, 13-year-old mental age, Josh took the children have the sincere, innocence and undefended, and gradually became the star of MacMillan Toys. People around thought it was a premeditated, but eventually he gradually infected, getting back to those years of sharpening the childlike. This is a wonderful Josh adult life, should definitely be good for his brother Billy. Billy arrange everything for him, accommodation, work, and even his birthday. If you do not have this brother, Josh how much the outcome will be a tragedy. This inseparable friendship seems to have occurred only in that age. Although he left last because a girl billy, but we all know they used to be good friends. We can never come back the days when we were so easy to be satisfied and happy, when we were so naive that took everyone to be sincere and when we thought friend would be a friend forever.

When you grow up, we have lost the simple joy, the same friendship lost ... ... who is the real friend?
